My Religion
UK producer See How returns with My Religion, a jagged and trippy electronic release built from a collage of famous quotes on peace, freedom and self-belief.
Blending minimalist electronics with off-kilter rhythms, My Religion pieces together words from cultural icons spanning music, spirituality and activism – including Janis Joplin, the Dalai Lama, Nina Simone, John Lennon and Bob Marley. The result is something of a personal manifesto – a fragmented spoken-word sermon that moves between introspection and optimism, repeating lines such as “my religion is kindness” and “just the same way we declare war, that is how we will have peace.”
See How says, “I wanted My Religion to feel almost like a manifesto – a set of beliefs about how to move through the world. Although the meaning is personal, the lyrics are by others whose words have carried weight across generations. Each line comes from a different voice, but together they form a single idea about kindness, peace and living honestly.”
The track follows his 2025 release 422ppm, an environmental deep garage cut featuring spoken word from activist Chantelle Lunt, which explored humanity’s responsibility as guardians of the natural world. With My Religion, See How shifts the focus inward, assembling fragments of cultural wisdom into a single voice that speaks to personal conviction and collective hope.
